A little bit of this and that

Organisation Station

11 October 2015
It's that time of year again, the time where I'm settling back into term for another (final) year at university, people are back at school and those of you with a full time job, well, I guess it's just October for you - respect, I don't know how you do it.

It's usually around about this time of year that I go into an organisational frenzy - I have a brand new diary filled to the brim with my plans for each day and work due, alongside a monsoon of new stationary; essential of course to the start of every new term for a stationary lover like myself. This year I invested in coloured pens - how exciting (and slightly tragic)!

As sad as it can be, I do find organisation to be key - I'm definitely not one of those people who can leave things to the last minute. I'm always that person who has submitted work way before anyone else has even started to think about it, purely because I hate having it bear down on me. I guess you could say I'm overly organised, but hey, I guess that can't be a bad thing, right?

There's something about this time of year that I find strangely therapeutic but that's probably just because I have a load of free time in between lectures and laboratory sessions where I can actually get myself organised and prepared for the week ahead. I'm sure that luxury will be long gone in a couple of weeks when I get caught in a constant storm of coursework and deadlines!

So if you find yourself lacking organisation in your life, I highly suggest you head on down to the shops, buy yourself a nice diary and some coloured pens and hey presto, you're already halfway there. You'll never look back, trust me.

Until next time,
