A little bit of this and that

Spring Wishlist

11 February 2014
Hello there again!

It's kind of half way through February already (scary, I know) and I suppose Spring is on the not too distant horizon, so today, I have drawn together all my most lusted after items to form my very own Spring wishlist; comprising of some normal and some random buys, thrown in there for good measure.

First off, we have Diesel's 'Loverdose'. I was given this as a gift a couple of years ago and it became a firm favourite. After over a year of using it sparingly, like most good things, it came to an end, boo. A repurchase is an essential for this year, I need it back in my life!

Next up is the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 in blue. I have to admit that I only first discovered this product after reading a blog post review of it that I stumbled upon, it's safe to say that it was love at first sight. I'm really interested in photography and I just think that polaroids are a nice, cute keepsake - a polaroid camera has always been something I've wanted to get my hands on. The instax mini 8 comes in a range of pastel-y colours; from blue, to yellow and pink amongst others and I've seen the camera on sites like amazon at quite reasonable prices (£50-£65). I think this will definitely be an investment in the coming months, particularly in time for Summer!

I am guilty of spending quite a bit of money on candles; particularly in the past couple of months and I am no stranger to the Yankee Candle shop. At Christmas, I bought my sister the Vanilla Lime candle and oh my goodness, the smell is phenomenal. Vanilla is up there with my most favourite smells, and the lime addition was unusual but most definitely welcome; the odds were pretty high that I was going to need this in my life at some point - sooner rather than later. It's a nice, clean summery scent so what better time to buy it than the lead up to Spring/Summer? I love you Yankee Candles.

I go to the gym 3 times a week whilst at uni and recently purchased a nice, new pair of Nike training shoes. However, whilst I love them to pieces, I'd been lusting over the Tiffany blue free runs - I mean look at them, no explanation necessary. Unfortunately for me, the UK doesn't stock the free runs in this colour - huge sad face. They still deserve a place on this list though; a girl can dream.

A couple of weeks ago, my wonderful boyfriend spoiled me with a few OPI nail varnishes from the 'Touring America' Collection. He got me a couple of darker shades and a neutral tone, slightly different from the brighter and more vibrant polishes I'm used to wearing. However, I instantly fell in love with each and every one of them so naturally had to have a look through OPI's newest collection - 'Brazil'. Straight off, I noticed/fell in love with/ knew I needed in my life immediately, this darker, more neutral polish - 'Taupe-less Beach'. I have a ridiculous nail varnish addiction and no doubt this will be in my possession within the month.

I love bunnies and I love cosy jumpers and conveniently, Topshop have rolled my love all into one with this cute little bunny print jumper, retailing at £24.00. It just so happens that I have Topshop vouchers at hand to spend - wonderful!

Finally, it is one of my daily essentials - the Bare Minerals Original SPF 15 foundation in 'Fairly Light' (I'd say it's more of a powder but we'll leave that to the experts). I have the complexion of a ghost and I've run out of this stuff, just as a colony of spots have decided to set up camp all over my face - I have no luck. This is more of a 'I need right now but alas, have no money' object than one I'm lusting after; I'm definitely desperate for it though and most of you will have probably stopped reading already or not read this post at all anyways, so I gave it the finishing spot (if any of you are still reading to this point, do leave me a wee comment, that's always nice!)

So there you have it, my Spring 2014 wishlist

Until next time!
